Freecycle Network

The Poole Freecycle Network is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate too!

So if you live in or very close to the Borough of Poole - that includes Broadstone, Corfe Mullen, Merley, Upton, Lytchett Minster, Lytchett Matraver etc. (let me know if you think I have left your area out!) - then please use this Network to reduce Poole's landfill.

One constraint: everything posted must be FREE. This network is brought to you by The Freecycle Network, a nonprofit organization and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills. Check out for other cities and info on the movement! E-mail for questions or improvement ideas!

How to get more details? Click on the Poole Freecycle link to find out more details. And DO join up - even if it's only to see what we do. And THEN start participating! You can join Poole Freecycle immediately by entering your email address below.

Let's each and every one of us do our very best to make POOLE an example to the rest of the UK in how we manage our unwanted items!

Out of Afrika

Having seen how large corporations write off their computer equipment over a three year period after which time the equipment is upgraded, Out Of Afrika set up Computers for Africa to provide affordable IT equipment to a wide range of rural schools and colleges with scarce basic resources. This technology will provide IT skills for future employment within related IT areas.

So if you have some obsolete computer equipment, please consider this worthwhile cause!
