The
Custom House (1)
Poole
Quay
This
is the third Custom House to be built on this
site. It was built in 1813 after the previous
(2nd) Custom House was burnt down. In front of
the Custom House stands a replica of the old town
beam used for weighing goods at a charge of half
a penny per hundred weight.
