Multiple delays to routes across Dorset are reported as traffic increases in the region today (Saturday May 14). Roads around major tourist areas such as Bridport, Weymouth, Lyme Regis, Swanage are becoming increasingly busy and motorists are advised to allow sufficient journey time.

Travel Dorset reports ‘very slow’ traffic near Bridport as people flock to West Bay amid reports of congestion on the eastbound A31 to Hampshire and queues on the A338 Bournemouth Spur Road northbound at Ashley Heath Interchange.
