Stunning clifftop homes in Highcliffe on the market for £2.5m+

TWO neighboring properties with stunning sea views are on the market at multi-million pound guide prices – and you won’t find them in Sandbanks.

The ‘incredibly rare’ listings are for two large homes in Rothesay Drive, Highcliffe.

Estate agents Savills are listing the four-bed Dalkeith property at £2.5million, while next door four-bed Cliff House is listed at £2.75million.

Sean Gibson, residential sales manager at Savills in Canford Cliffs, described Dalkeith as his “dream property”.

He said Cliff House is the perfect home for “entertaining, barbecuing with a view of the family.”

Discussing the demand for such properties in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, Mr Gibson said: ‘The much-discussed ‘space race’ over the past 18 months or so is one that has naturally seen an increase in interest in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole as a general area.

“Buyers, particularly those looking to leave more urban areas, have been drawn to villages like Highcliffe because of its proximity to the beach.

“It’s very rare that beachfront properties with exceptional panoramic views and located just minutes from the beach become available, but there is a really strong level of demand in the market, which is why the likes of Highcliffe and Sandbanks, which are always popular, continue to attract a great deal of interest from registered buyers with us.”

Cliff House, which is offered for sale for the first time in 28 years, is set over two floors with two bathrooms and three living rooms.

It also has a summer house, a private balcony and an elevated terrace.

Dalkeith is described as a “New England style residence”, with an open plan and generous garden. Inside, it has four bathrooms, including suites, and three living rooms. There’s a separate “Coach House,” ideal for guests, elderly parents, or older children, estate agents suggest.

Cliff House has access to the promenade and beach, while Dalkeith has access to the grounds of Highcliffe Castle, where there is also a path leading directly to the beach.

Savills said due to the popularity and scarcity of properties, the two are going to best offers, which are due to close at 12pm on April 26.
